After a 20-year career in software and services, I founded an independent financial consulting firm.

My practice is focused on strategic financial management solutions for profit-sector and social entrepreneurial organizations.

My tradecraft is a mix of paradoxical skills.  I am both a patient listener and a quick learner.  I employ the mental strength crucial to swift decisions in uncomfortable settings, yet I hold empathetic space to protect team cohesion and future growth.

This has enabled me to engage in often-improbable, uncomfortable, high-risk, time-sensitive endeavors over a 20+ year arc.  I have teamed with clients in settings that range from mature, structured teams embracing transformative change in competitive, unforgiving environments, to early-stage, unstructured teams fighting to reach their first rungs on the ladder of growth markets.

Partnering in over 40 projects, I have a record of 100% success.  How?

- I have focused financial skills and experience.

- I am highly selective.

- I accept risky assignments but must see feasible paths to a solution and an unwavering commitment by my clients to teamwork.

- I engage only where we have collaborative grit and clarity on the nature and size of the risk-reward tradeoffs ahead of us.

Put simply, I take high risks.  But I don't gamble.

I am a facts-first, outcome-driven strategist who enjoys partnering with clients on a mission to convert aspirational vision into actual, sustainable, positive outcomes.

A corporate finance Phd and a graduate of Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation, I am also a Red Cross first responder and have served in unpaid volunteer roles at multiple nonprofits, from active service to board membership.
